The Country Club at DC Ranch in Scottsdale

GOLF COMMUNITY GUIDE

DC Ranch

A master-planned community at the base of the McDowell Mountains, with four villages, miles of trails and Market Street close to home.

DC Ranch began as a working cattle ranch and became one of North Scottsdale’s best-known planned communities, with its first residents moving in in 1997. It is made up of four villages: Country Club, Desert Camp, Desert Parks and Silverleaf. Between them you will find condos and townhomes, single-family homes near neighborhood parks, and custom estates against the mountains. Paths connect it all to two community centers and Market Street, so a lot of daily life happens close to home. One thing buyers should know early: the Country Club at DC Ranch is private, and membership is separate from owning a home here.

At a glance

  • Golf: a private 18-hole course at The Country Club at DC Ranch, designed by Tom Lehman and John Fought and opened in 2002. Silverleaf, one of the four villages, has its own private club.
  • The community: two community centers, Desert Camp and The Homestead, plus paths, parks and Market Street for shops and dinner.
  • Homes: about 3,000 homes across four villages, from condos and townhomes to custom estates.
  • Location: along Pima Road and Thompson Peak Parkway near the Loop 101, 85255, with some gated neighborhoods.

The market right now

DC Ranch is an active market: 95 homes sold in the past year and 23 for sale now. The range is wide, from condos under $1 million to custom estates, so the median of about $1.78 million tells only part of the story. These numbers include some homes in Silverleaf, one of the four villages.
