McCormick Ranch is one of the established neighborhoods in central Scottsdale, about seven square miles of lakes, greenbelts and bike paths close to Old Town and Fashion Square. Instead of one gate and one club, you get dozens of smaller subdivisions, from condos and townhomes to patio homes, waterfront homes and homes along the fairways. The golf is public, so there is no club to join, and daily life here is easy to walk or ride through.
