GOLF COMMUNITY GUIDE

Pinnacle Peak Country Club

North Scottsdale’s first private golf club, with custom homes on large lots and McDowell Mountain views.

Pinnacle Peak Country Club opened in 1976 as the first private golf club in North Scottsdale, well before most of what surrounds it today. The neighborhood is mostly custom homes on half-acre and one-acre lots, many backing up to the course with views of the McDowell Mountains. It has an established, unhurried feel that newer communities take decades to earn. Membership is limited, so it is worth asking early if the club is part of your plan.

At a glance

  • The club: limited golf memberships, with a waitlist at times.

  • Location: North Scottsdale, 85255.
